The Specs, Straight Talk
Here’s the thing: this lamp runs at 400V and 2500W. That’s not by accident. It’s chosen so you can plug it straight into standard industrial power—no extra transformers, no messy wiring. Just a clean, simple connection. The tube is 300mm long, which keeps the heat concentrated. You get serious watt-density in a small footprint, so the energy goes where you need it, not scattered all over the place.
What It’s Made Of
Inside, the halogen element sits in a quartz envelope. That’s key. Quartz can take the intense heat of the filament without flinching, and it keeps the output steady, even after repeated heating and cooling cycles. And we added a reflective coating on the back of the tube. It pushes more infrared energy forward, so you get tighter, more directional heating—and less wasted heat. The R7s base is a bi-pin connector that snaps in place, handles the current safely, and makes swapping out the lamp during maintenance a no-brainer.
Real-World Use
On the shop floor, this setup means one thing: heat, fast. It comes on instantly, performs reliably, and when it’s time to replace it, you’re not wrestling with complicated steps. Now, the trade-off is heat density. With 2500W, you need to plan for proper ventilation and heat management in the enclosure.
