Most cheap heaters use a basic rubber grommet or some low-grade silicone to plug the hole. On paper, it looks fine. In reality? It’s a disaster waiting to happen. Think about what’s happening inside. That infrared lamp gets incredibly hot. That heat doesn’t just go forward; it bleeds backward into the wiring. Over time, the rubber gets brittle. It hardens. It cracks. Doing it the right way
We decided to stop playing that game. Instead of just shoving a wire through a hole and hoping for the best, we use high-temperature fluoropolymer seals and terminals that are crimped with actual precision. It’s a multi-stage process.
