A few things to keep in mind
Now, custom bends are great, but they aren’t magic. They do introduce some stress points. If a bend is too tight, you might end up with a localized hot spot on the filament. That’s why the engineering part is so important. Also, a quick tip: make sure your mounting brackets leave enough breathing room. If the quartz touches the furnace wall, the thermal shock will crack the tube. You’ll also want to keep an eye on the airflow around the geometry so the ends of the lamp don’t overheat. Keep it cool, keep it clear, and you’re good to go.
